Common Questions
Your progress is saved automatically after every response. Simply log back in with your email and password, and you will pick up exactly where you left off. There is no time limit on the assessment, so you can complete it at your own pace across multiple sittings if you prefer.
Your results are generated instantly upon completion. Your personalised report is available to view and download within seconds of finishing the final question. During periods of high demand, there may be a brief processing delay of a few seconds, but there is no manual review or waiting period.
Yes. The TC Future Skills test can be retaken every 3 months — enough time for meaningful behavioural change to occur and show up in your scores. The Enneagram personality test can be retaken every 48 months, since personality is stable. The validity layer is always re-computed from scratch on every attempt; previous validity verdicts are never carried forward. Each retake requires a new purchase at the applicable tier rate.
The Tomorrows Compass assessment is currently undergoing formal validation studies. The underlying research has deep academic and practitioner foundations: Dr. Albertini's PhD dissertation (2012) examining future leadership competencies, a comprehensive literature review covering 255 academic and practitioner sources, 42 in-depth interviews with CEOs and CHROs, and ongoing collaboration with 16 universities and business schools across South Africa, Canada, Europe, Singapore, the UAE, the UK, and the USA. The current V2 instrument has a locked item bank and a fully specified scoring engine. Per-construct pilot data is being collected; the methodology is published transparently as Provisional at /methodology/discover and will move to Interim and Established as pilot evidence accumulates.
Tomorrows Compass Discover is a 215-item behavioural assessment, completed in approximately 35 minutes. Each of 12 future-readiness capabilities is individually scored and assigned one of four strength bands — Development Priority, Baseline Strength, Established Strength, Signature Strength. Every report includes a public response-quality verdict (Confident, Nuanced, or Layered), and an Enneagram personality blueprint that personalises the development guidance. The methodology is published transparently as Provisional — instrument locked, pilot data in progress — at /methodology/discover.
No. Tomorrows Compass is a behavioural skills assessment. It measures what you do and how you do it across 12 future-relevant skills, not just who you are. Personality profiling (Enneagram) is included in the Explorer tier as a complementary lens, but the core of the assessment is behavioural, not psychometric. The distinction matters: psychometric tests measure innate traits assumed to be relatively fixed. Behavioural assessments measure practiced capabilities that can be developed. Your results are not a label. They are a development roadmap.
Data is transmitted over TLS 1.2+. Sensitive user-authored content (journal entries) is encrypted at the application layer with AES-256-GCM. Hosted on SOC 2 Type II certified cloud infrastructure. Payments processed by a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider; we do not store card data.
Your individual results are confidential. You see your full results, report, and journal entries. If your assessment was provided through an employer programme, designated programme administrators and coaches may access your scores and report to support your development, but never your private journal entries. Results are never shared publicly without your explicit action. If you took the assessment independently, no one but you can see your results unless you choose to share them.
Each team member completes the assessment individually and receives their own personalised report. The team data is then compiled to generate team-level insights, including collective strengths, development areas, skill distribution patterns, and team composition dynamics. Individual results remain confidential within the programme. We recommend a team size of at least four members for statistically meaningful team-level insights.
Every enterprise deployment includes structured onboarding for programme administrators and, where appropriate, participant orientation sessions. We work with your team to ensure full programme adoption and measurable impact. This includes technical setup, administrator training, communication templates, and ongoing support throughout the programme lifecycle.
